Komodo National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to the world’s largest monitor lizard, the Komodo monitor lizard. This iconic creature can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh up to 700 kilograms. Apart from Komodo monitor lizards, the park is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including deer, wild boar and monkeys. The park’s underwater world is also home to a variety of marine life, including coral reefs, fish, turtles, manta rays and sharks.
